Zao Hot Spring

It is a hot spring resort located in the mountains of Zao. There are many points of interest to enjoy, including a ropeway, not to mention the abundant nature. The hot spring water is a highly acidic sulfur spring, which is said to be a beauty's hot spring because it makes the skin white and smooth. Almost all of the hot springs are 100% free-flowing hot-spring water. We recommend soaking in the hot springs and relieving your fatigue in Zao Onsen, a resort in summer and a snowy landscape in winter.

Hagurozan Five-story Pagoda

Slightly different from other five-story pagodas, Hagurosan's five-story pagoda is 29 meters high and made of white wood with a persimmon roof. It is a rare design in Japan, and is a national treasure.
After descending stone steps amid cedar trees and crossing a sacred bridge over the Aurigawa River, you can also see Suga Falls. The five-story pagoda surrounded by cedar trees can be seen ahead, and the atmosphere as you walk to the five-story pagoda is perfectly set, making it a location with a great atmosphere all around. Takahata Winery

Among the fruit kingdom of Yamagata, we especially recommend the Takahata Winery.
Yamagata Prefecture is the largest producer of Chardonnay Delaware, a type of grape, in Japan. This wine factory uses these Chardonnay Delaware grapes to produce wine made not only from grapes, but also from Yamagata's famous cherries, peaches, and other grapes. The winery is first surrounded by vineyards, where visitors can learn about the wine-making process and buy limited edition wines and other products.

We also focus on food stores!

As a tourist attraction in Yamagata, the food store also puts a lot of effort into its menu, which features a wide variety of dishes made with local specialties in collaboration with local companies. All of the food items are reputed to be delicious, especially the wine pizzas that go well with the wine. You can also enjoy winery-style meals, such as white wine soft serve ice cream.
