When planning a trip to Hiroshima, you cannot miss "Onomichi ", can you? Specialty okonomiyaki
Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki with yakisoba and plenty of cabbage is popular among children and adults of all ages. Recommended okonomiyaki restaurants in Hiroshima are "Michi-chan "and "Denko Ishikka ".
"Micchan "was established in 1950 and was born and raised with the reconstruction of Hiroshima. Known as the birthplace of Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, the restaurant continues the tradition without changing its old style.
The dough is made simply with flour and water to bring out the flavor of cabbage. The noodles and sauce used are also carefully selected.
The most standard okonomiyaki is soba with meat and egg for 790 yen. Toppings such as kimchi, ooba, and cheese are also available, so you can customize it to your liking. Also popular are the DX Special with green onion, squid tempura, raw squid, raw shrimp, and mochi (with soba or udon noodles), and okonomiyaki with oysters.

"Okonomiyaki at "
"The okonomiyaki at Denko Ishibka "is different from the okonomiyaki you may be familiar with in that it is characterized by its plump, round silhouette, so three-dimensional that you will want to take a picture of it from the side. You can create your own original dish with a wide variety of toppings.
The sweetness of the cabbage, the gentle taste of the egg, and the noodles that are left soft and tender make for a sweet and soft okonomiyaki. We are also pleased to offer a wide variety of side dishes, including a teppanyaki menu.
