Niigata Botanical Garden (Niigata City)



It is a botanical garden with three greenhouses to explore.
The giant domed greenhouse, 42 meters in diameter, has a great impact.



There is also a tropical plant dome and a greenhouse for special exhibitions of azaleas, tulips, azaleas, etc. under the theme of "Flowers of Niigata ".

Befco Bakake Observation Deck (Niigata City)



The 31-story observation deck is the best on the Sea of Japan side, offering a 360-degree panoramic view.
It offers a spectacular view of Niigata City, the Sea of Japan, Sado Island, and Mt.



The night view is also very beautiful. It is very convenient with space for eating and shopping.

Niigata City Aquarium, Marinpia Nihonkai (Niigata City)



It is one of the largest aquariums on the Sea of Japan side. It breeds and exhibits 30,000 items of about 600 species.

Niigata City Art Museum, Niigata, Japan

Yamakoshi Alpaca Farm (Nagaoka City)



The ranch is located in the middle of the mountains in Yamakoshi Village. Many cute alpacas from Colorado, U.S.A., make you feel relaxed.

National Echigo Hillside Park (Nagaoka City)

Fumo Rock (Sado City)



This spot is believed to bring good luck in marriage and childbirth. The legend of "Kojiki "says that these two rocks are the alter egos of Izanagi and Izanami. There are also the mythical "Cat Rock "and "Sailing Rock ", and their natural formations are amazingly beautiful.

Toki no Mori Park (Sado City)



A park adjacent to the Sado Ibis Conservation Center. Many people associate Sado Island with the crested ibis.



Visitors can observe the crested ibis up close in large cages and be soothed by the sight of them flying and eating food. There is also an exhibition hall where visitors can learn about the crested ibis, such as ibis fossils and skeletal specimens.

Fukuji Kaisendo (Uonuma City)



The temple was built at the end of the Edo period and boasts a history of about 500 years. It is home to "Kaisando ", which is decorated with numerous paintings, sculptures, and other works by Ishikawa Uncho, a master artist at the end of the Edo period who was called the Michelangelo of Japan.



The works are breathtakingly powerful.

Sasagawa Nagare Pleasure Boat (Murakami City)



Visitors can enjoy the view of the sea from the top of the boat and the experience of feeding the seagulls.
