Matsuyama City



Matsuyama Castle, where cherry blossom viewing can be enjoyed from early April, can be reached on foot or by ropeway.

Queen of the Road Park



This famous park has been selected as one of the 100 best parks in Japan, and is located about a 5-minute walk from Dogo Onsen.
The vast 85,000-square-meter area of the park is filled with cherry trees, and when they are in full bloom, the scenery is breathtaking.
In early March, camellia cold cherry trees begin to bloom, and around April, about 300 Someiyoshino cherry trees start to bloom.

Ishite River Green



The Ishide River bed of the Ishide River, which runs east to west in Matsuyama City, has been developed at "Ishide River Green Space ".
This popular flower spot in Ehime Prefecture allows visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms from late March.
About 900 cherry trees including Someiyoshino, Yokouzakura, and Shidarezakura are in full bloom, attracting many visitors.

Weeping cherry tree at Horenji Temple (Kuma Kogen Town)



You can reach it by driving about 40 minutes from Matsuyama City on Route 33 toward Kochi.
There are no mountain roads, and it is located just off a national highway, so even those who are not comfortable driving can enjoy it.
It is just the right distance from Matsuyama City for a drive.
This cherry tree, which is said to have been planted by the priest of Horenji Temple, is said to be 150 years old.
The magnificent weeping cherry trees are designated as a natural monument of Kuma Kogen and attract visitors from all over the town and beyond.

Flatfish Mountain Observation Park (Oshima, Imabari City)



This observation park is located at the summit of Mount Calais, 202 meters above sea level.
When the flowers are in full bloom, the area is crowded with visitors who enjoy viewing cherry blossoms with a view of the Seto Inland Sea.
The cherry blossoms are at their best from the end of March to the beginning of April, and when you climb up to the observatory, you can see Hakata Island, Nojima, and Oshima Island.

Jusenzan Mikimoto Sakura (Iwaki Island, Ujima-cho)



It is a mountain located at "Iwakijima ", which can be reached by boat from "Ikuchijima ", the fourth island across the Shimanami Kaido.
Located in the center of Iwaki Island, "Sekizenzan "is 370 meters above sea level, with many different varieties of cherry trees blooming along the mountain towards the summit.
The blossoms of the cherry trees that wrap around the mountain are a distinctive feature of this spot, and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea can be seen from the observatory at the top of the mountain.

Ishizuchi Shrine



The main shrine, the most easily accessible of all the Ishizuchi shrines, is famous for its cherry blossoms.

Tomisuyama Park



Tomisuyama (Mt. Fuji), named for its resemblance to Mt. Fuji, is a 320-meter-high mountain located in Ozu City.
From early March to around April, 3,000 Someiyoshino cherry trees color the park in pink.
Located in a relatively easy-to-access area, the park and observation deck make it a popular spot for families year-round.



From the observatory at the top of the mountain, you can see the Ozu Basin and the Elk River, and enjoy the cherry blossoms and the view.
There are also campgrounds for barbecues and picnic parks for the whole family to enjoy.
