Kaida General Park
This is a comprehensive park located in Kaida-cho, Aki-gun. Despite its relatively short distance from Hiroshima City, the park is very popular as a spot where visitors can play on large playground equipment while feeling the richness of nature.
The large playground complex ", a combination of camphor tree & sunflower ", is one of the best equipped playgrounds in Hiroshima Prefecture. The 40-meter long slide is very powerful. At the grass sled plaza, visitors can enjoy sledding on a slope of natural grass about 30 meters long. There is also a Chibikko Hiroba (small children's playground), where even small children can play safely.
There is also a pond inhabited by very large carp, which can be enjoyed by feeding them. Koi food can be purchased at the administration building.
The park also has a free campground, although it is far from the plaza where the playground equipment is located. The park would be an attractive spot for day camping with children.

Sendacho Park
This huge park suddenly appears in the middle of the city of Hiroshima. The park was built on the site of the former Faculty of Engineering of Hiroshima University, which existed until 1982, and has been loved by the children of the city since that time.
The greenery and the athletic trails with their varying elevations will keep many rambunctious children busy, and the two separate roller slides, suspension bridges, and climbing ropes will make them feel like they are on a little adventure.

Kumano Mirai Koryukan
This large playground opened in Kumano, Aki-gun in 2017. Because it opened relatively recently, the playground itself is very clean and is marked by the adorable "Fude Rin ", Kumano's tourism ambassador. When the Exchange Center is open, this is also a place where visitors can enjoy reading picture books inside.
As for playground equipment, there are more than 10 different types of slides of various sizes, including a slightly steep angled slide that is so thrilling that even adults can get hooked on it. Harumi Rinkai Park Playground in Otake City is a park that opened in 2018 and is famous for having one of the best playground complexes in the prefecture.
It is divided into three zones: a zone for children from 1 to 3 years old, a zone for children from 3 to 6 years old, and a zone for elementary school students, so that both large children and toddlers can enjoy themselves. Kure Portopia Park
Located in Kure City, this park was originally the site of an amusement park, but is now a much-loved family park. It can be reached by car or by public transportation as it is close to the station.

Senogawa Park
It is a comprehensive park located in Aki Ward, Hiroshima City, and since it is not far from Hiroshima City, it is crowded with many people on weekends.
Just outside the parking lot, there is a small children's playground with a large playground complex, and children are always excited to play on the various sizes of equipment. The main attraction is the long roller slide. However, please note that the playground equipment will be undergoing renovation between June 2022 and December of the same year, so it will not be available for use.
