Yoshino Mountain



Yoshinoyama, a World Heritage site, is located in the center of Nara and is famous for its cherry blossoms.
Cherry blossoms fill the valley, attracting many tourists during the cherry blossom season. The sea of clouds is also spectacular, and is often mentioned as a sight to see before you die.
The ropeway provides a panoramic view of the city and offers a spectacular view of Nara that you should definitely try to see. It is said that there are 30,000 cherry trees, and you can enjoy a typical view of Nara.

Wakakusan

Sarusawa Pond



Sarusawa Pond in Nara Park is a spot where most visitors to Nara go to see the five-story pagoda of Kofukuji Temple and other structures because of the beautiful reflections in the water.
It is so popular that it is one of Nara's eight scenic spots, and in summer it is illuminated and the Naramachi promenade is lit with lanterns.
There are many turtles in the pond, and it is cute to see them coexisting with deer while drying their shells on the edge of the pond.

Daikaihara



It is a unexplored mountainous region located at an altitude of 1695 meters called Odaigahara, deep in Yoshino County.
It is also an easy-to-reach unexplored area since it can be reached almost by taking the Odaigahara Driveway. It is a famous tourist spot with bus service from Kintetsu Yamato-kamiichi Station.
The rich natural environment and abundant rainfall allow for rare plants to be seen. The sticks in the photo are in a rare state of standing deadness, which means they are still standing and dying. The driveway is about 4 to 5 hours long, and is recommended as a date course as you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while driving.

A sacred place for stargazing
