Japanese Cuisine Tekisui is located in the "Fufu Nara" Onsen Ryokan.

Yoshino Honkaku Tenjidou Nara Main Store



They have been making Yoshino-honkuzu since 1870, and the Tengokudo Nara head store allows customers to enjoy kuzu cuisine and kuzu sweets at the former site of Todaiji's Nishidaimon gate.

Shizuka Kouen Branch



This kamameshi restaurant has been in business for 60 years. The rice is cooked one pot at a time after it is ordered, ensuring that the rice is always freshly prepared. It takes about 20 minutes after ordering, so be sure to go when you have plenty of time. There is always a long line of customers waiting to get in.
The very popular seasonal kamameshi is seasonal, with oysters in winter, wild vegetable kamameshi and shirasu kamameshi in spring, and chestnut kamameshi in fall.

This restaurant offers almost all of Nara's local cuisine. You can find almost all Japanese food items such as tea rice porridge, kakinoha sushi, udon and soba noodles, and nyumen.

Yanagi Tea House



Kaiseki cuisine is served in a long-established teahouse founded in the Meiji era. The austere Japanese atmosphere is well known for its relaxing atmosphere. There are two types of kaiseki dishes and boxed lunches available: traditional Nara chahan (7,366 yen) for kaiseki and Nara chahan (3,564 yen) for boxed lunches.
The restaurant is located right next to the main temple of Kofukuji, so it is conveniently located just in time for lunch when you are sightseeing in Nara Park in the morning.
