It is said to be a treasure trove of geological materials, and even those who are not interested in rocks can easily see the overwhelming natural beauty of the area. It is a rare sea-eroded plateau that was naturally formed by wave and wind erosion of sandstone. This beach has a history of about 17 million years, and is a beach where visitors can experience nature.

Oddly shaped rocks called Otake and Kotake

There are many attractions such as the oddly shaped rocks called Otake-kotake, the oddly shaped rocks called Ranma-iwa, the "thousand frogs" chain, and Amanohashidate, all of which were created by nature. Shikoku Karst

It is a karst plateau on the border between Ehime and Kochi prefectures. The national road that crosses over the mountain is called the road in the sky, and many people come here just to drive or tour along this road. The road runs from an elevation of 1,000 to 1,500 meters above sea level, looking down on the world below, and the scenery is as if you have arrived in another world. With prairies stretching as far as the eye can see and cattle grazing, the scenery looks as if it were not in Japan.

A spot where grasslands and oddly shaped rocks mix together!

The scenery is a mixture of grasslands and strange rocks, and alpine plants can also be seen. The daytime scenery is spectacular, but at night it becomes pitch-dark, making it a good spot for star gazing. Kochi is famous for its starry sky, but the starry sky from the Shikoku Karst is exceptionally beautiful and popular.
