JR Ueno Station, a terminal station in northern Tokyo, is the starting point of the city. To the west of the station is the vast Ueno Onshi Park, which is home to some of Japan's finest art galleries, museums, multi-purpose halls, and other cultural facilities.
In this article, we introduced spots based on the image of a stroll from Hongo 3-chome to Ueno Station. In addition to the park area, there are many other spots that we could not introduce this time, including the area centering on the bustling shopping street Ameyoko to the south of JR Ueno Station and the downtown Yanaka area that extends northwest of the park. We hope you will enjoy these spots, which are not to be missed when walking around the city, covering parks, museums, and other standard tourist facilities, as well as popular gourmet specialties.
