Hongsha Ena Gorge, Ena Kawakamiya

In Gifu, a chestnut confectionery famous for its kuri-kinton (sweetened chestnuts), you can taste chestnut samadori.
Chestnut lovers will love the chestnut kinton, dorayaki with chestnuts, and the exuberant Mont Blanc. The interior is stylish, and you can even see where the cakes are being made so that you can taste the freshly made cakes.

"Chestnut Issusi Mont Blanc "is a special Mont Blanc with a shelf life of 30 minutes, available only at stores in Ena City and Kani City. Yoroken Asty Gifu

This is a store where you can enjoy Daifuku, a type of rice cake filled with fruit.
The store specializes in red bean paste, and while the red bean paste is of course delicious, the fruit is also delicious and high in sugar content. The fruit changes with the seasons, and you can enjoy what is in season at that time. It is also unique to Yoroken to have fruits such as figs and chestnuts, which are not found in other stores. The cross section of the Daifuku is designed to look like a Daifuku, so it is also recommended for Instagram viewing.

Delicious local cuisine is served in a machiya-style house. You can enjoy Hida's gourmet dishes such as oyako-don (chicken and egg bowl) made with Hida Jidori chicken, Hida's specialty Keichan set meal, and Hoba Miso dishes stewed on a magnolia leaf. The Hoba Miso in particular has a rich, yet savory flavor that is addictive.

The menu includes everything from ayu fish sashimi to ayu fish nectar, ayu fish tempura and fried ayu fish, all of which can only be found at this restaurant.

This store is famous for its sumptuous shaved ice. The shaved ice is not only gorgeous to the eye, but the fluffy shaved ice is truly exquisite.
The price is reasonable, but it is more than worth it. The shaved ice has a wonderful texture, and although it disappears in your mouth, you will keep eating it, one after another, like magic. It has become a Gifu specialty, so please try it when you come to Gifu for sightseeing.
