The Nishinomaru Garden is a very famous cherry blossom viewing spot. Located west of the castle tower, this 6.5-hectare garden is home to approximately 300 cherry trees, mostly of the Somei Yoshino variety.
At night, visitors can enjoy the view of illuminated cherry blossoms as well.

Osaka Castle Gozabune is a cozy cruise boat that takes its passengers around the moats of Osaka Castle in approximately 20 minutes. Offering a great view of both the castle and the cherry blossoms, this experience is highly recommended!

The origins of the "Cherry Blossom Passage" at the Osaka Mint, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, date back to 1881. The 560-meter passageway is filled with approximately 340 cherry trees of about 140 varieties, and attracts many visitors every year. From sunset to 9:00 p.m., the pathway is illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms at night. The cherry blossom passageway is the most popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Osaka Prefecture and the sixth most popular in Japan.

Located on the left bank of the Osaka Mint, "Kema Sakuranomiya Park" is home to approximately 4,800 beautiful pink cherry trees along a 4.2 km stretch of the Okawa River from Kemaaraizeki to Tenmabashi Bridge. Since visitors are free to stroll around, the park is crowded not only during the bright daytime hours but also late into the night with cherry blossom-viewing visitors enjoying the blossoms at night.
