You can stay in a Finnish log house cottage with the warmth of wood.

The living room with a stairwell and a wood-burning stove to be used during the cold season will surely raise your spirits.



The cottage has its own BBQ furnace.
If you make a reservation in advance and have food and other items prepared, you do not need to carry your own luggage for the meal.

How to enjoy BBQ on a day trip

There are covered BBQ facilities on the property right next to the log cottages.
Use this for day trips.
There are four plots in total.
It is covered, so if it rains a little, you can enjoy your meal.
BBQ stoves are available for rent and charcoal is available for sale.
Reservations for food items must be made at least 10 days prior to the date of use (weekends, holidays, and long vacation periods are not included; only weekdays are counted).

This is a day-trip-only BBQ service operated by Akagisan Auto Camp Ground.
A wide variety of ingredients, including meat from the pig farm directly managed by the company, can be grilled and enjoyed.

You can choose from two different types of BBQ locations.

Large covered space.
It would be easier to understand if we say that it is like a huge BBQ azumaya that is often seen.
This venue is recommended for groups who want to enjoy a meal in a lively atmosphere.
There are two start times: from 11:00 and from 13:00.

Fees start at ¥3,000 per person.



One cabin per group.
Enjoy BBQ on the spacious deck.
It is highly private, so it is recommended when you want to enjoy yourself without worrying about other people's eyes or lines of sight.
It is also perfect for a couple's date.
Start time is only from 11:00am.
Please be sure to contact us in the unlikely event that you will be late for both park and cabin barbecues.
Fees start at 4,000 yen per person.

Ingredients to be prepared at the Aha! BBQ



The BBQ ingredients here are gaining popularity because they are so well prepared.
In particular, Gunma's brand meat ", the "kome-kome" pork ", is excellent.
The meat is juicy and full of umami, and its abura meat melts when grilled.
It has a very elegant taste with a sweetness to the abra.
Aha! BBQ offers 100 grams each of rose and loin.
The set also includes homemade bacon and sausage, assorted fresh vegetables, salad, and rice, making it a very filling meal.



For dessert, we had s'mores, which are marshmallow and chocolate sandwiched between crackers.
The marshmallow should, of course, be scalded over a fire to melt.

A village where visitors can experience crafts surrounded by the beautiful Ayukawa River and the beautiful nature nurtured by the mountains.



Visitors can try their hand at pottery making, indigo dyeing, glass blowing, wind chime making, and more.

The set includes a variety of ingredients such as Gunma pork ribs, beef ribs, chicken thighs, frankfurters, vegetables, and seasonings, as well as cutlery.
Fee is ¥8,000

light plan

Basically, the same as the regular plan above.
The difference, however, is that beef is eliminated from the ingredients.
This may be a good amount for a group that does not need a lot of BBQ food, or for a family with small children.
The fee is ¥6,000.

Equipment Rental Plans

This is a simple plan that only requires rental of equipment and location for BBQ.
No food, preparation or clean-up services are provided.
Recommended for groups that want to prepare everything themselves and keep costs down.
The fee is ¥4,000.

Pizza Plan



How about baking an oven-baked pizza for 2,000 yen in addition to the above amount?
It is interesting because we can experience preparing and cooking by ourselves.
The pizza is baked at high temperature and is hot, crispy, and very tasty.
Dough, sauces, cheese, etc. will be provided, so please prepare your favorite toppings separately if you have them.

[Midori-shi ]Kodaira no Sato Campsite



The campground is located in a beautiful environment rich in nature.
Located near the gentle flow of the Kodaira River, there is also a space to play in the clean water.
There is also a botanical garden and a limestone cave, where visitors can spend a day without getting bored.
There is a one-day bathing facility "Yuyukan "in the campground, so I recommend taking a relaxing soak in the hot water.
This facility features a wood-burning "moshibi-buro (bath) "that is heated with wood.
Relax in the fragrant and refreshing cypress bathtub.
It is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (April to September) or from 7:00 p.m. (October to March) at night, so why not come after a full day of walking and BBQ?



Only barbecue furnaces (pre-installed), charcoal and griddles can be rented here.
Chairs are provided.
The fee is ￥2,150 for a day trip to the campground plus the fee for using the BBQ building.
There is no food, preparation, or clean-up service, but the advantage is that it can be planned at a reasonable cost.




Food, drinks, and cutlery such as plates and chopsticks must be provided.
In addition, I would like to have some bags for organizing trash.
It is also equipped with a clean kitchen, so food that needs to be prepared on the spot is acceptable.
It may be more for intermediate to advanced outdoor enthusiasts, as it requires skills to be able to start a fire.
