Shimonida Hydrangea Garden

This spot is located in Shimonita Town, which is famous for its green onions.
Approximately 20,000 hydrangeas are planted in a vast area of about 3 hectares.
Then there are the 1,200 or so Salisbury trees.
When the time of year comes, the land is filled with hydrangeas, which are very spectacular.
It is also beautiful to see the flowers closing as if passing the baton to the sarsaparilla, which flowers from summer to fall.
The spot is located on the slope of a small mountain, so please wear comfortable clothes when visiting.
Also, please be careful with your footing as there are ups and downs.

Recommended nearby sightseeing spots "Makita Fudo no Taki Waterfall (Makita Fudo Falls) "

It is located approximately 1.8 kilometers from Shimonita Hydrangea Garden.
The drop-off is about 40 to 50 meters.
After walking up and down the ups and downs, I recommend viewing the waterfall to cool down moderately.
On a fine day, why not enjoy it with hydrangeas?
It is possible to drive in to the area around the waterfall, albeit on a fairly narrow mountain road.
Please be careful on your way there and back.

Nearby recommended sightseeing spots "Japan Chanson Museum "

The French song "chanson" is the Japanese equivalent of a song.
Here is the museum built by Mr. Hiroshi Ashino "Hiroshi Ashino ", who sang that chanson and started a huge movement.
It is said that this is the only museum in the world that deals with chansons.
In a Western-style building reminiscent of a corner of France, musical instruments, sheet music, and other materials are on display.

After visiting the museum, take a stroll through the garden with its roses and trees.
""The view of the garden, which is said to have been loved by Claude Monet ", a painter known for his water lilies ", is well worth seeing.
On weekends, concerts and other events are held, so it is recommended to visit for these events.
There is also a museum store where visitors can purchase goods directly imported from France and a café that looks like a Parisian street corner.
Enjoy the specialty menu "croissants "and other delicacies and spend a non-busy day.
