[Day 1 ]Okinawa Driving Women's Trip Starts

Departure from Naha Airport! Enjoy the American atmosphere at Okinawa's famous A&W

Hamburger fast food restaurant "A&W "has been gaining popularity recently, especially on social networking sites.
Although many stores are based in the U.S., Okinawa is actually the only place in Japan where this flavor can be found.

Originally a juice stand selling root beer made from medicinal herbs, it landed in Okinawa in the 1960s and opened as a fast food restaurant.

The now well-established concept of the drive-through began at Ender's, which is said to be the restaurant that brought a lot of American culture to Japan.

I recommend the Makiminato branch.
You can enjoy the drive-in restaurant style, and after receiving your goods, you can park your car in the drive-in space and eat freshly prepared food in your car!

A&W features a drink called "Root Beer "! Although it is a beer, it contains no alcohol and is a drink made from about 14+ herbs.
It is a drink that is not easy to like or dislike, but if you are not a fan of carbonated beverages, why not give it a try?

Free refills of root beer at all restaurants is another recommendation!

Another attraction is that it is not just a hamburger shop, as there is a playground for children in the restaurant and a variety of cute original goods.

T-shirts with the A&W logo on them are now being worn in matching or different colors, and the number of fashionable women taking pictures in front of the store is rapidly increasing, making them Instagram-worthy!
They make great Okinawa souvenirs, and there are also mugs, caps, key chains, phone covers, stationery, plush toys, and much more!

"Manzakage: Enjoy Okinawa without the high road at "

Manza-gou is said to have gotten its name from the King of Ryukyu who once upon a time said "Manza-gou is hair (field) enough to sit 10,000 people ".

Manzamage is a popular tourist attraction, with its cliffs made of Ryukyu limestone and oddly shaped rocks resembling an elephant's nose!

It is so stunning that it has earned a Michelin 2-star rating and attracts many tourists from abroad.

Speaking of Manzakage, "elephant nose "images are popular on Instagram and other sites.
Manzamage is a precipitous cliff with a clear blue ocean below the cliff.

The cliff is about 20 meters high and quite high.
On a clear day, Ie Island and the ANA Intercontinental Manza Beach Resort can also be seen, attracting many tourists with their cameras ready.

To see this elephant nose, you must enter the tourist facility adjacent to the parking lot and buy an admission ticket.

Visitors can also enjoy sata andagi and other Okinawan specialties at the tourist facilities.
There is also an assortment of souvenir shops.

At the end of the Manzagare sightseeing area, you can experience "the Screaming Elephant ", also known as the Screaming Dragon of Manzagare.
Various types of clappers are placed on the floor, so please enjoy the magical experience!

[Day 2 ]Feel Okinawa to your heart's content

Feel like you're traveling abroad at American Village

American Village is an exotic spot with an American atmosphere.
One of the best tourist spots in Okinawa where you can enjoy the hottest gourmet food and shopping.

It is a popular city resort among locals, with fashion stores, amusement facilities, restaurants, and other amenities located in several areas on a site the size of approximately five times the size of the Tokyo Dome.

Another essential part of the American Village is night time.
The entire American Village, including Okinawa's only Ferris wheel, is lit up at night as if wrapped in neon lights!

After having dinner at night, you can spend a very nice time enjoying the illumination with a little night breeze!
There are some places on the American Village grounds that have a view of the ocean,
It is a sight to see at sunset, as it is very beautiful!

Located right in front of Sunset Beach, "Kalahai "offers authentic live music performances that play loudly along with the food.
Immerse yourself in Okinawa at the store produced by Rinken Teruya of the popular band "Rinken Band "and in a live space featuring Ryukyuan dance and other performances.

There are many Instagram-worthy spots in the American Village, including hidden characters you may have seen before, angel wings, and murals of American cars!

Please visit!

Of particular note is American Depot, which offers a wide variety of goods and clothing directly imported from the United States.
Also known as "the treasure house of American goods ", it is a dreamlike space with an outstanding selection of goods that will make you forget that you are in Japan.
The brightly colored building near the entrance is a landmark.
Please stop by!

Installations to the end on Seto Island!

Okinawa is a 15-minute drive from Naha Airport to the small, once uninhabited island of Senaga.
Even though it is a remote island, the main island and Senaga Island are currently connected by land, so it is possible to visit by car or on foot.
With clear blue skies, beautiful beaches, and the rare opportunity to soak in natural hot springs and stay overnight, this is a sightseeing spot where you can feel as if you are in Greece, as if you were abroad.

"Senagashima Umikaji Terrace "is lined with modern, new-style stores such as locally produced sweets, gourmet foods, sundries, craft stores, etc., and is full of a resort atmosphere.

Just off the beach on Senaga Island, a group of white buildings lined up in a circular pattern is "Senaga Island Umikazi Terrace ".

Currently, there are 34 tenant facilities, and it is the main spot on Senaga Island where you can enjoy gourmet food, healing, workshops, and shopping all day long.

By the way, Umikazi means wind of the sea "Sea Breeze ", and those who visit are blessed by Niraikanai.

On holidays, the area is crowded throughout the day with free live performances, hula dancing, belly dancing, and other activities.

At dusk, enjoy the view of the horizon and the pleasant sea breeze for an elegant time.

As a side note, there is a sight called "Green Flash "that you can encounter if you are lucky on Senaga Island.

"Green flash "is a very rare phenomenon in which the sun appears green for a brief moment at dusk, and it can only occur under a variety of conditions.

It is said that those who miraculously see it will be blessed with good fortune.

And best of all, you can see airplanes heading to Naha Airport from as close as you can get.
Take a look at the planes taking off and landing on the runways of Naha Airport on an impressive scale.
The airplane seen from the embankment in front of Umikazi Terrace on Senaga Island is truly a powerful sight!

You don't have to be an aviation buff to enjoy watching the aircraft of various airlines come and go. Take a break after lunch, sit on the embankment, and enjoy the view at your leisure.

The island is surrounded by beautiful cobalt blue waters!
Since we are here, let's enjoy the sea as well.
When the tide is out, you can enjoy a walk along the edge of the waves.

Even if you don't have beach sandals and towels ready, you can purchase them at the store in Umikazi Terrace on Senagashima Island, so you can enjoy the Okinawan sea until just before the departure time of your flight.

In addition to beaches and stores, Senaga Island also offers footbaths, projection mapping, and other experiences!

The last stop is Naha Airport to end the trip.

Although Senaga Island is very close to Naha Airport, be sure to allow plenty of time for your return flight.
Naha Airport offers a wide variety of stores and souvenir shops, such as Okinawa soba noodles and A&W hamburgers, which are typical of Okinawa.

The visitor deck is also a recommended spot at Naha Airport.
Not only can you watch planes take off and land up close, but you can also look out over the Kerama Islands since there are no tall buildings around.

The visitor deck, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful sea and blue sky when the weather is clear, is unique to Naha Airport.
A large space is provided for small children to run around.

This will be a great spot for families to pass the time together.
Visitor decks are available on both the north and south sides of the 3rd floor of Naha Airport's domestic terminal!
