Osaka Museum of History
"Osaka Museum of History "opened in 2001, integrating the concepts of "Osaka City New Museum "and "Archaeological Resource Center ".
The nickname is "Naniwa Rekihaku ". When the museum first opened, visitors were asked for a friendly nickname, and this one was chosen as the most appropriate.
The Museum, with its stylish beige tiled exterior, is located just off Exit 9 of Tanimachi 4-chome Station on the Tanimachi and Chuo subway lines, in a complex with the adjacent NHK Osaka Broadcasting Station.
It is recommended to go around from the 10th floor! Permanent Exhibition Floor
Take the elevator up to the 10th floor and you are on the ancient floor. You will feel as if you have time-traveled to the Daigoku-den Hall of the Naniwa Palace in the Nara period (710-794).
From there, as you move down the floor, the era progresses.
The 9th floor is the Medieval and Early Modern Period floor. "The streetscape of "and "the age of Osaka Honganji "the age of Tenka-no-Taisho (the kitchen of the nation) are unfolding.
The 8th floor is a floor for digging for history. The excavation site is reproduced in full scale, and visitors can experience archaeology.
There are also puzzles such as earthenware reconstruction puzzles and strata fitting puzzles, making the floor enjoyable even for children.
The 7th floor is the Modern and Contemporary floor. Shinsaibashisuji and Dotonbori from the late Taisho and early Showa periods have been realistically recreated. Visitors can enjoy the nostalgic retro atmosphere.
The 6th floor has a special exhibition room where various exhibitions are held for a limited period of time.
The Osaka Museum of History is a place where visitors can learn about Osaka's history and culture through realistic exhibits.
Both residents of Osaka and those from outside the prefecture will be able to fully enjoy the event.
