"The May Zoo "is located in the May Park at an elevation of 315.3 meters above sea level.
The park is operated and managed by Ikeda City, and admission is free.
Since its opening in 1957, the May-Moon Zoo, with the concept of "the zoo with the most heart in the world," has been loved by many people as a warm and friendly zoo where they can meet cute animals.
Wombats are rare in Japan
In 1990, three wombats from a zoo on the island of Tasmania arrived as animal goodwill ambassadors for Ikeda and its sister city, Launceston, Australia.
Wombats are very rare in Japan, and are kept only at two zoos in Japan: the Mayakizan Zoo here and a zoo in Nagano Prefecture.
The second generation of the zoo's wombats has now been born, and they are showing us their adorable and energetic appearance.
On the official website, "Wombat Terebi "provides real-time information on what is happening with the wombats.

"At the petting zoo ", visitors can interact with cute small animals such as Kedzumeuri turtles, chironomid rabbits, Ukokei, chickens, and guinea pigs for 100 yen per 15 minutes.

Located in Minamikawachi County, Osaka Prefecture, "World Farm "opened in 1989.
The concept is "heart-to-heart contact between people, nature, and animals," and it is our hope that everyone from adults to small children will enrich their hearts and minds through contact with animals, and have fun and valuable experiences.

In addition to petting the animals, there is also a dog run, athletic facilities, and a barbecue garden, making it a facility where visitors can enjoy themselves all day long.
World Village also has log cabins and cottages where you can stay overnight, so you can enjoy a resort-like atmosphere even while in Osaka.

"Fureai Pasture "is one of the largest pastureland in Kansai with a total area of approximately 5,000 square meters.
Visitors can interact with many animals, including sheep, goats, ponies, miniature pigs, and ducks, and can try feeding them at their leisure.
