Bunroku Tsutsumi Satsuma Anglo-Japanese House is a tea room in a renovated townhouse built in 1926 along Bunroku Tsutsumi in Moriguchi City. The Bunroku Tsutsumi was a levee road along the east bank of the Yodogawa River built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in 1594 during the Bunroku era, under the orders of Mori Terumoto, Kobayakawa Takakage, and Yoshikawa Hiroie. It is said to have continued for a total length of about 27 km from present Hirakata City via Moriguchi City to Nagara, Osaka City. The remains of the Bunroku-cho are still visible in the area around Moriguchi City Station. In the Edo period (1603-1867), the area seems to have been crowded as Moriguchijuku on the 57th leg of the Tokaido Highway. Bunrokuzumi Satsuma British Museum opened in 1992 and had a museum and a store for cultural exchange between Japan and the U.K. In 2022, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the museum, it was renovated into a tea room with a new concept of "enriching your life through tea ". While running their own stores, they are also working to revitalize the shopping district and hold a variety of events. Among them, "Senbayashi Festival ", which has been held since the Showa period (1926-1989), continues to be loved by local people and is a family event with not only night stalls and food stands but also mini-slides, beer sales by mobile vans, etc.

Satten Shrine
Sata Tenjingu is a shrine nicknamed "Sata Ebisu "in Moriguchi City. It is said that the land of Sata, where the shrine is built, was the domain of Sugawara no Michizane during the Heian period (794-1185). Michizane was driven out of the capital by the Shoutai Incident of 901, and was left behind in Dazaifu. On his way to Kyushu, he stopped at this place and stayed there for a while, connecting ships, and left a wooden statue of himself and a self-portrait. About 50 years after Michizane's death, during the reign of Emperor Murakami, a villager enshrined the self-portrait as a sacred object and built the Sata Tenjingu Shrine. The Sata Tenjingu Shrine appears as a stage in "Sata-mura no dan "of "Sugawara denju tenarai kagami ", a Kabuki puppet play and a Kabuki play that portrays Michizane as a model.
The main shrine, rebuilt in the Edo period (1603-1867), is in the Ikkensha-Kasuga-zukuri style with an eaves gable in the front. The pond behind the main shrine seems to have been the pond of Michizane's residence, and it is said that Michizane made self-portraits and self-portraits while reflecting his face on the surface of the water.
The temple grounds are covered with a deep forest where large trees over 20 meters high and other trees grow. "It is one of "the 100 best places for greenery in Osaka. Plum trees are planted around the main shrine, and in early spring, the shrine is enveloped in seasonal colors. The "Ebisu Festival "usually held in January "as Moriguchi Sata no Ebessan "seems to have become a local winter tradition.
