Ikaho Onsen is one of the most popular tourist spots in Gunma Prefecture.
There are many highlights, including the famous stone steps and the emotional Kawaga Bridge.
This article introduces such inns in Ikaho Onsen.
We have compiled a list of carefully selected hotels and inns that are popular for their delicious buffets.

Hotel Tenbo

There are two sources of hot spring water in Ikaho: "Kogane-no-yu "and "Shirogane-no-yu ".
Hotel Tenbo draws hot water from both of these sources.
The hotel has a facility called "Yusobinokan Tenharu "where you can enjoy as many as 10 different types of hot springs.
It is gratifying to be able to enjoy both Kogane-no-yu and Shirogane-no-yu within Tenharu.
Forget about your daily busyness and take a relaxing soak in the hot water.
There is also a rock bath in the basement of the building, making this inn a must for hot spring lovers.
Incidentally, the stone used for the rock bath is a natural treasure "Sanbaishi (Sanba Stone) ".
The baths, built with 600 tons of precious stones, have a rustic atmosphere.
Rooms can be selected from traditional Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and Japanese-Western-style rooms.
Some rooms have an open-air bath, so choose the room that best suits your occasion.
The museum also has a footbath that can be enjoyed 24 hours a day and a space that offers free drinks (8:00-18:00).

Hotel Amanbo offers two types of buffet plans.
One is a meal at "Shokuza Shunobo ".
The restaurant is popular for its open kitchen where you can enjoy freshly prepared, hot dishes.
The restaurant offers a variety of dishes that can be enjoyed by both young children and adults, such as steaks, gratins, fried foods, sushi, and sashimi.
After dinner, of course, I would like to have sweets and fruits.
Another nice feature is that soft drinks are complimentary with meals at Shun-no-bo.

Another buffet is on the top floor of the Tenbo at "Sky Hall Milky Way ".
This one also has an open kitchen.
However, the food is more luxurious than that of the seasonal bo.
Snow crabs, roast beef, and potluck dishes that you can light on your own fire are also available.
There is also a wide variety of dishes that would make good snacks, such as sautéed abalone.
The chef's recommendation of a course-like dining experience is also a luxury.
I would recommend either Shun-no-Bo or Amanogawa in terms of culinary delicacies.
However, if I had to recommend one or the other, I would go with the seasonal monk for families with small children or when you want to keep your budget as low as possible.
I would recommend Amanogawa for anniversaries, celebrations, and special dining experiences.

The breakfast buffet at Hotel Tenbo is all about egg dishes.
The taste of omelets and fried eggs cooked right in front of you is irresistible.
The salads are also delicious, with plenty of crunchy fresh vegetables.
Eat plenty of your favorite foods and be energized in the morning.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari Ikaho

Expanding its power nationwide "Oedo Onsen Monogatari ".
We also operate one lodging facility in Ikaho.
The key point is that two sources of hot water are drawn from the same source as the Amanbo introduced earlier.

You can take a dip in the Kogane-no-yu in the large bath and Shirogane-no-yu in the open-air bath.
The somewhat cozy but tasteful open-air bath is a rock bath.
At night, the lanterns are lit and the mood is perfect.
You can also enjoy bedrock baths where you sweat in a dome-shaped kiln, "and kamaburo ".
Paintings by Takehisa Yumeji and others are displayed along the pathway to the baths, so take your time while walking around.
The museum offers a wide variety of free fun activities, such as table tennis and a manga corner.
There is also a karaoke and game corner, although there is a charge for this service.
It will be nice to heal your body with a massage machine for a fee.
There is a wide variety of room types, including Japanese-style rooms, Western-style rooms, and spacious special rooms.
The Ishidan Street is only a 10-minute walk away.

Oedo Onsen Monogatari offers only buffet meals for both dinner and breakfast.
Each season features a different fair menu.
Dishes using Gunma Prefecture ingredients are especially popular.
Please try "Totsukiyaki ", which uses Gunma's famous pork, if available.
The sweet and spicy flavor goes well with the tender meat, and it goes well with rice and sake.

The ceramic plate grill, which sizzles in front of your eyes, is also popular.
Of course, there are also standard menu items such as tempura and otsukuri.
For dessert, be sure to try the Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
Of course, it's all-you-can-eat here, too, and the tension is explosive.
There is only one meal plan, but the variety is impressive.
The menu consists of dishes that can be enjoyed by all ages.
For those who like to drink, we recommend adding an all-you-can-drink option.
Also, restaurants provide baby food, so request it if necessary.

As with dinner, a wide variety of dishes are served on the buffet table.
The menu is diverse, ranging from fresh salads to egg dishes and side dishes.
Both Western and Japanese food groups can eat well.
Especially popular are "Original Bowls ", which you can make by choosing your favorite toppings, and "Croffles ", which you can bake yourself.
After dinner, you can taste fruits and yogurt.

A reasonably priced inn operated by "ITOEN HOTELS ".

This time, we would like to introduce one of them, the Ikaho Grand Hotel.

The abundant hot water is free-flowing and luxurious.

The Western-style room has a rather cozy impression, but is equipped with a bed, a small table, and a TV.

Karaoke seems to be very popular and is by lottery.

Like the Oedo Onsen Monogatari introduced earlier, there is only one meal plan here.

There are about 50 dishes.

Of course, dessert is available after the meal.

You can enjoy alcoholic beverages without adding a separate all-you-can-drink option or ordering individual items.

If you want your meal to be special, consider a special-order meal.

The lineup is more than adequate for breakfast, including grilled fish, egg dishes, natto (fermented soybeans), ham and sausage, prepared dishes, and salads.

There are also yogurt and other small desserts to enjoy after dinner.

The facilities are simple but functional compared to lodgings operated exclusively for tourism.

A large bath, open-air bath, sauna, and water bath are available for a relaxing bathing experience.

It takes about 20 minutes by car to reach Ishidan-gai.

This hotel offers a breakfast buffet at no extra charge.

The stew and other side dishes are especially delicious with a warm flavor.
