"Tsutenkaku", the symbol of Shinsekai, the "Eiffel Tower of Naniwa", is a 103-meter-high observatory. The Shinsekai area where such a tourist attraction "Tsutenkaku Tower" is located used to be an entertainment district where workers gathered, and the old streets of the Showa period still remain without much sectional maintenance. As the severe cold eases and the arrival of spring is felt, ume (plum) blossoms begin to bloom. There are many attractive ume viewing spots throughout Japan. Saitama Prefecture also has many ume viewing spots, and we will introduce four of them: Koshu Bairin, Koshigaya Bairin Koen, Omiya Daini Koen, and Hodosan Ume Hyakkaen.
